Generally it is not a problem if an image is attached to some hard surface such as a wall or a floor. However, the thing becomes more complicated if the print hangs freely and the light from behind ruins its reception.

The idea behind the design is simple – it must contain some material that is able to absorb the light in order to increase its opacity. Usually, this part has a form of layer of black glue sandwiched between the sheets of plastic foil. The higher the number of layers – the bigger its opacity.
